Senior Prefect Team 2020-21

Just before the Summer, during lockdown, we held our interviews for our Senior Student posts.

All the students who were interviewed did exceptionally well and it was difficult for us to make our decision.

Head Girl ~ Carenza, Head Boy ~ Rohan

Deputies ~ Ella and Will

Senior Students ~ George, Molly, Niamh and Lily

Well done all, we look forward to working with you this year.

Meet the team

Hello, I’m Carenza Highman, your new head girl.

I pride myself on being friendly, resilient and enthusiastic. You might know me from playing rugby for my local team and school. I’m passionate about listening to people’s voices which probably stems from being part of South Molton Circuit choir. I would like to make SMCC the best environment for students to learn and have fun. I hope I will be able to support students and staff during the next school year.

Hi, I’m Rohan Green, SMCC’s new head boy.

I am excited to work with the staff and students to ensure the best learning environment possible for our fellow students. I think all students should enjoy their time at school. It is for this reason I intend to introduce a wider range of clubs for students to attend. I hope to get to know all of you better when the school gets back to the new normal.

Hi I’m Ella Dart, your new deputy head girl.

Hopefully you would have seen me around school and singing in my band. I am involved in a variety of sports and would love to get more people involved. I’m excited to see you all in September

Hi my name is William Turner and I am the new deputy head boy.

You have hopefully seen me walk around school. You may have also seen me play in my band or doing sports in or outside of school. I am looking forward to working with the senior student team and will have the best interest for the school.

Hi, I’m Niamh Holman, one of your new Senior Students.

You may have seen me about school, in the library or the music room. I’m honoured to be a Senior Student – its an opportunity I’m grateful for, and I hope to work with the Students, Staff and the Senior Students to keep working to make our school a better and friendlier place.

Hi my name is George Turner and I have been appointed as part of the extended  senior team.

I have been representing the school in activities such as sports like football and athletics at Braunton and also outside of school with football. I am looking forward to working with the rest of the senior group and helping to add ideas and give contributions and also help the school leadership team in different ways.

Hi, I’m Molly Matthews and I am really looking forward to working with our team on Senior Students here at SMCC.

Most of you will know me from my equestrian background and will know I’m all about hard work and dedication! I’m hoping that in my role I will make sure life at SMCC is enjoyable for all of you and that you will have a great time here.

Hello, my name is Lily Graver and I am a Senior Student.

Hopefully you’ve seen me in school and performing with my band around the community. Mental health is important to me and I strive to support those in lower years and my peers. I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of the Senior Student Team and I look forward to working with the Senior Leadership Team next academic year.
