Geography scholarship award

Very proud to spend this morning with year 8 students that have been involved with our fantastic geography scholarship award expertly organized by Mr Godwin (head of geography).  So proud of our students that presented on topics such as ‘in the age of Sat Nav, do we still need maps?’ and ‘is there anything sweet about chocolate?’.  Superb presentations developing real life skills – well done to all involved!

Pop up poetry

Mrs Gooding’s amazing year 10 class treated us to a pop up poetry exhibition this week, showcasing their work on the exam anthology. With only an hour and a half of lesson time to think, plan, prepare and produce, they wowed staff and peers with their insights.
