New Astro Turf Project

Our Astroturf was installed in 2007 and has lasted much longer than expected. However, it is now at the end of its life and is no longer certified for official use as a 3G pitch according to FA and RFU requirements. We are therefore replacing it, work will commence during next week and certainly as of w/c 19th June to replace the playing surface and the shock pad that's sits beneath. This is a significant project, and the work will take between 4 and 6 weeks subject to its general progress and any weather restrictions. Its renewal will prove to be a fantastic enhancement to this site for our use and the wider community.

During the period of the planned works, there will be no access to the astroturf pitch area, and we cannot yet provide a firm date for when the new surface will become available for use.
