Writer's Award

A group of our most talented Year 8 writers went to West Buckland to participate in an extra-curricular writing course this term. They worked alongside the artist Joseph Whitehall to create an illustrated anthology of work from SMCC, West Buckland and The Park Community School students.

Our very own Daisy received the accolade of being selected as the overall writing & illustration winner from across the schools. Her story is well-crafted and full of vivid imagery. We are very proud of her!
