           Term                   Definition

           Grip                   The way the racket is held, affecting control and shot accuracy.
           Ready Position         A balanced stance with knees bent, ready to move in any direction.

           Overhead Clear         A high shot aimed at sending the shuttlecock to the back of the opponent’s court.
           Underarm Clear         A defensive shot played underhand to send the shuttlecock high into the backcourt.

           Drop Shot              A delicate shot played close to the net to force the opponent forward.
