Page 6 - Who Could YOU Become?
P. 6
Your pathway will direct you to make certain choices. If you wish
to discuss your recommended pathway, please see Ms Southworth,
Director of Learning.
Please remember that while the majority will get their preferences,
courses may have to be withdrawn if there is insufficient demand.
Also, some combinations of subjects may be prevented by timetable
restrictions or clashes.
Limitations
• Some of our vocational subjects will always be restricted to one
class, and if we find that demand for these courses is high, we
may need to interview students further to find alternative options
for them. No student will be permitted to take more than one
vocational or BTEC course. This means that you can only choose
ONE subject between Hospitality & Catering, Performing Arts and
Animal Care.
• If students change their minds between submitting their option
preferences and their final option choices, they are less likely to
get their final choices as those students that have maintained the
same choices.
• In some subject areas, if student numbers are low, it may not be
viable to run these courses. In the event of this, we would ask
students to reselect from the final option blocks.
We look forward to seeing your results to the options process before
I then make contact again with the final options blocks.
Sincere best wishes
