The course requires you to sit two exam papers.
Paper 1 relates to the content of the investigating small business.
Paper 2 relates to the content of building a business. Each paper may also
draw some knowledge of the other theme
“I’ve always been a gamer geek and loved making things and
knew when I left SMCC that I wanted to go to the Engineering
Centre of Excellence at Petroc. I knew I needed five GCSE’s to
get on the course and I really had to work hard to get them.
I’m currently in my third year at Petroc on a Machinery
Technician Apprenticeship. It’s a great course as it’s practical
and theoretical and I’ve made loads of friends in the gaming
community here.”
