COVID School Opening

Staying COVID secure

We are complying with Government Guidance on managing the risk of COVID. We have hand washing, cleaning and hygiene procedures in place in line with guidance.  We have a Covid Lateral Flow testing facility established in school.

Online learning

For students remaining at home, it is vital that all pupils engage with their timetabled lessons. Registers will be taken each lesson; this is done by the software knowing who is logged into the sessions. Non-attendance will be challenged by us, there will obviously be some genuine issues for some students and this will be taken into consideration.

It is important to recognise that lessons will follow the full timetable, as on ClassCharts. Most lessons will be conducted through Microsoft Teams and email invitations will be given to join the sessions. Although the majority of lessons include live elements if there are staff absences or unforeseen circumstances some work may be set through ClassCharts and RMunify.
