Stanley runs the London Mini Marathon

Stanley represented the South West Region at the famous TCS Mini London Marathon Championships on Saturday 22 April 2023. Over the years the Mini London Marathon has launched the careers of international athletics stars including Birmingham Commonwealth Games and Tokyo Olympics medallists Laura Muir, Keely Hodgkinson and Josh Kerr – not to mention the great Sir Mo Farah – who won the Mini three times. Following this great tradition, it was an amazing experience for Stanley to travel and stay overnight with the South West England Team and to compete among the best new talent in British road racing over the last 2.6 kilometres of the full marathon course. Jake Wightman, current 1500 metre world champion, officially started the race and Stanley and his team mates enjoyed attending a pre-race Q&A session with him.
