Student of the Week 26-05-23

Before the half term break, Morgan assisted in a crisis late one afternoon. Morgan assisted and supported the care staff, and residents at Eastleigh Care Home, East Street. Sadly a fire broke out in the main kitchen area and required the prompt evacuation of the residents and staff.

Morgan sat with the residents chatting and reassuring them. He assisted staff (including the collection of take away food and drink for all involved), and provided technical support setting up hot spots to ensure staff could access information electronically.
Staff described him as 'an absolute legend' they were very proud of him - he remained calm and showed kindness to others.

Morgan was presented with his 'Student of the Week' award at the Class of 2023 Leavers Ceremony.
